In autumn, in Liguria arts is for everyone (and of everyone): cinema, street art, historical palaces and major Museums

Autumn is the right time for arts and culture lovers as Liguria organizes many events, exhibitions and shows worth visiting for a fresh start after the holidays.  Starting from Genoa, after the great success of last season's exhibitions, the great artists invited this year will definitely attract and thrill the public. Especially Banksy and Alfred Hitchcock, to mention a few. The most iconic artworks of the internationally renowned street artist, who focuses on current issues and who got himself talked about a lot lately, will be exhibited in Palazzo Ducale from November: paintings, prints, sculptures and rare items, many of which will be on display for the first time. War, Capitalism & Liberty is definitely an exhibition not to be missed!  Going back in time but without leaving Genoa, from October the exhibition of the Seventeenth century Genoese painter Bernardo Strozzi will be held in Nicolosio Lomellino palace. Arts will not be confined in museum halls though: The On the Wall project, in the Genoese suburbs Certosa - affected by the tragedy of the Morandi Bridge collapse - represents recovery and redevelopment. Boasting historical buildings included among Unesco World Heritage Sites, Genoa is an excellent starting point, but throughout Liguria there are many museums worth visiting.
