In the Tigullio hinterland you will be welcomed by mountain environments, dense woods and rural landscapes. You can visit Santo Stefano d’Aveto and taste San Sté, a delicious local cheese.

For sportsmen there are around 500 km of paths (you can also go along some on horseback or on a mountain bike), langlauf, ski touring and skiing with snow shoes, canoe descents, canyoning, climbing, hang-gliding and paragliding.

For children and young people there is the Indian Forest at Belpiano (Borzonasca). You can visit the Lame glacial ponds (Agoraie Reserve) and the Zatta beech wood. Coming soon is the reopening of the Gambatesa Mine, today a mining museum visitable on a little miners’ train.
