Sun, witches and corals along the Aurelia Road and the Argentina Valley

Leaving from Laigueglia, a maritime village of colorful houses gathered around the alleyway and the beach, follow the Aurelia SS 1 state road to the right due west.

Go through Capo Mele and Andora and after 11 km and 20 minutes you will reach Cervo, a village all to be visited, boasting a castle and alleys leading down to the baroque church.

Proceed along the Aurelia SS 1 passing through San Bartolomeo al Mare, Diano Marina and Imperia up to San Lorenzo al Mare. Once there, turn right into Via Cipressa leading to the medieval village of Lingueglietta.

Head back to the Aurelia SS1 state road and after having passed through Santo Stefano al Mare and Riva Ligure head towards Arma di Taggia where the Argentina Valley begins.

Follow along provincial road SP 548 which goes through Taggia, Badalucco and the villages of the valley floor all the way to Molini di Triora. At this point, the road climbs up quite steeply and the SP52 provincial road reaches the mountain village of Triora.

Head back again across the entire Argentina valley to reach the coast in Arma di Taggia.
