A town that has the traits of folk traditions, as picturesque as the real nativity scene that tells its story

In the Genoese hinterland in the upper Bisagno valley, is a town crossed by the Bisagno river. Wrapped in nature, tranquil and devoted to farming activities, to slate working and to the use of the springs of water. Dotted by numerous churches, including the extremely old Santa Maria Assunta, whose origins date back to the 10th century and by tidy houses in the green, it has the charm and the atmosphere of a nativity scene. And it is this image itself that inspired an original nativity scene in the woods, a picturesque stone reconstruction of the typical stone buildings in the zone. A sign of love of the locals who undertake the task of growing it, with passion.
