Amongst green mantles and tiny villages, a typical farm postcard, a place that has kept faith with its history and its traditions

Between the Ligurian coastline and the ridge of the Apennines, on a hill, a place that overlooks a centuries-old history connected to religious faith. Proof of this lies in the many trails spread throughout the territory, touching all the small hamlets, each one with its own chapel. Hike along them and be inspired by a landscape dotted with typical stone buildings and rocky outcrops (“cengi”). And if you love nature, here is a small but precious nature area in the Rio Parasacco. Sacred art is alive and well in the old towns: in the small squares of the villages 17th century churches with porticoes and frescoes make a great show. During the Christmas period, don’t miss the original live nativity scene.
