A wonderful multicoloured patchwork

A meeting place for young people and one for lovers in the 1950-1960s, it was none other than Ernest Hemingway that suggested this project to Mario Berrino. It was a retaining wall of the garden and has become a wonderful multicoloured patchwork, a Hollywood Walk of Fame to go along with your hands.

The pair of lovers by Eros Pellini and Peynet’s Lovers are ambassadors of love. And besides, love is also part of a local legend: Alassio came into being with the arrival of two soul mates, Aleramo and Adelasia, who, on the run from her father, fell in love with the place and chose it as their love nest.
