An ancient county immersed in nature with unexpected colours. Don’t miss the village of Valloria, the town of the painted doors

A centuries-old county not far from Imperia in the upper Prino valley, offering a magical landscape distinguished by olive trees. A brilliant silver mantle swaying the breeze with small hamlets springing up. Visiting this county nowadays is an opportunity to live unique experiences tied to history, to art and to tradition: in Molini, a frescoed renaissance arched porch, in Valloria “the town of painted doors”, in Tavole a fine late-Baroque Genoese organ. In Villatalla you can see the only still preserved icehouse in western Liguria where snow was stored and cut into blocks of ice in Winter to be sold in Summer.
