A landscape with brand new connotations, protagonist of legends and theatre of spectacular mountain biking. Between luxuriant woods and sculptures of rock

Small township in the upper Bormida di Spigno with a surprising landscape due to the presence of karsts, curious sedimentary, clay and marly rocks. One of the most impressive natural sculptures is the “fungo di pietra” or stone mushroom, a 14-metre rocky mass suspended over a thin layer of rock. An unusual territory that has inspired legendary stories and nowadays it offers thrilling trails, which you can hike along or use for mountain biking amongst rocky walls and broadleaf and conifer woods. Between May and July, don’t miss the spectacular flowering. And don’t forget the flavours of the fine cuisine, from dolcetto wine to black and white truffles.
