The beach at Sori is sand and gravel with well-equipped bathing establishments, bed & breakfasts and restaurants, where you can enjoy trofie pasta with pesto, here particularly savoury.
A must is Recco Focaccia with Cheese to be enjoyed in places with a view of the sea. Sori is surrounded by 7 small hill hamlets from which magnificent views are enjoyed and the flavours of the hinterland can be tasted in one of the many restaurants with typical menus.
There is a very panoramic view from the Sant’Apollinare Church, perched on a hill sheer over the sea, and it affords a unique thrill: the gaze roams from Punta Chiappa on the Portofino promontory towards Genoa and beyond.

Sori is a seaside village that climbs towards the hinterland, with terraced hills immersed in Mediterranean maquis and the typical Ligurian olive trees. A rocky coast, with high cliffs that go down sheer towards the beach. Via  Sant’Erasmo, known at Sori as the caruggio, is the oldest and best preserved street in the village, where there is the house where Pablo Picasso’s grandfather was born, marked by a plate; it is the destination of a “pilgrimage” by Spanish tourists. Here there is the little Piazza Sant’Erasmo, with the Sant’Erasmo oratory, where cultural and musical events are also organized. Among the seabeds of Sori and the neighbouring communes, there is a Site of Community Interest with grasslands of Poseidonia oceanica and coral formations.
