Perched on the rock, midway along the Armea valley, Ceriana has Roman origins, at the top of the hill where Apollo’s temple once stood. A spectacular medieval village grew here, plus an 18th century church, alleys with bizarre names, the Palazzo of the Roverizio counts. Mystical atmospheres and a strong religious spirit still hover but the intimate air of this village hides a bent for pleasure. Discover this through the flavours of cuisine based on wild game cooked to ancient recipes.
