Thousand-year old village on the river of the same name, lives blissfully on the Po side of the Apennines, in a basin where magnificent vineyards and chestnut groves are cultivated. To discover its farming nature, follow the trails that take you through country villages, woods and pastures. Worth a visit the Tana delle Fate (fairy den) and the “tuvi”, tufa hills full of fossil shells. A real, genuine landscape that is best expressed in the offer of its products (grapes, cereals, legumes, fruit and chestnuts), in the animal raising and in the gathering of wood. A lifestyle that also finds flavour in the traditional dishes such as polenta with boiled meats, which stars in a food fair held in September.
