At the confluence between Gottero and Vara rivers, behind Deiva Marina and Levanto, this is a village made up by many rural centres keeping traces of the past, such as the fortress houses and some ruins of the octagonal tower of the castle. Here, you can find important sanctuaries, pilgrimage destinations, chestnuts, oaks and beeches woods that take you up to the highest peaks of Mount Gottero. From trekking to mountain bike, from rafting to canoeing, it is a scenery that also offers sports - related feelings. Do not miss the Medieval bridge on the Gottero stream, the old street enriched with arcades and the Assunta church and the hamlet of Groppo.
