Without moving from the Riviera Ligure of Levante, you can choose a route not as famous as the previous, but not for this less fascinating.

This itinerary starts from Brugnato. You can take the provincial road n. 566 of Val di Vara in the direction of Carrodano. In Ca’ di Vara you will find a fork from which you can reach Sesta Godano or Carrodano. Once you are in Carrodano you should take a break to see Carrodano Sottano and Carrodano Soprano, two nice villages. Nearby there is also the Lago di Mattarana, an artificial basin immersed in the pine trees, from there you can see a wonderful view of the Alpi Apuane.

Continuing along the main road, you start climbing the Passo del Bracco through a thousand curling edges in an incredible landscaping setting that allows you to combine the fun of driving with the beauty of nature.
